There are no hidden secrets to reaching your weight loss goals
except that it takes a combination of disciplines to succeed, and these
disciplines can be applied to almost any aspect of life in order for you
to achieve what you want.
1. Take control of your time
Only you are accountable to yourself. No-one else has the influence over stopping you achieving your goals.
Of course baring any tragic event; whether it's the office keeping you working late, too much housework, or just simply not enough time in the day, it's down to you to "make time".
Be strong and precise with your time management making adjustments where appropriate and you will stay on track to succeed.
2. Maintain a clear focus of why it is you're doing what you're doing
An unhealthy lifestyle, which may include regular drinking or other types of substance abuse will cloud your vision.
The older you get the harder it becomes to re-focus.
Drinking can really upset your drive as a human being, especially if you're most productive in the mornings.
Keep it to a glass of wine if that, and as you progress through maintaining your disciplined lifestyle, so will your drive increase and you will begin to reap the rewards of all the hard work you've put in.
3. Write down your goals
Just keeping a clear positive mindset might not be enough for some.
What is it that you want from reaching your weight loss goals?
Do you want to be true to yourself and have more self confidence?
Do you feel you can be much better looking as an individual and display self control on the outside which women see as security in a man - a turn on, and for women who display outward self control in their relationship, this for men adds to their feeling of approval - a big must for a man.
Or maybe just staying in shape keeps the mind in shape, making you more successful, driven, a better person, a better parent.
Write down why it is you are doing this and "pin it" to the wall - Never lose focus of what you want in life.
4. Take Action!
You have to take action, period.
Procrastinating gets you nowhere. Take your appetite suppressant every day; fill the fridge with healthy fat, carbs and proteins each week.
Go for a run, swim, cycle or hit the gym etc when you have one spare hour in the day.
Stay proactive and log how much weight you've lost on a chart on the wall each week.
All 4 of these steps are key for you to achieving your weight loss goals.
